Dean Road - Catholic Church

The All Saints Catholic Church was built and opened on June 21st 1927. After a fund had been started in November 1925. The foundation stone had been laid in October 1926. It was blessed by Bishop Thorman.

Dean Road runs from the Broom to the Great North Road. The houses on the south side of Dean Road are more or less the far southern edge of Ferryhill, although a new housing estate known as Dean Park has been built behind the Post Office at the eastern end on land popularly known as the Bunny Banks.
