West Close Farm is now at the junction of the new Chilton Bypass, which runs past Chilton on the west side. The old A167 road that leads to Chilton past the Cemetery is now closed to traffic.
The new Chilton bypass bends to the South West from here, taking the A167 to the west of Chilton instead of through it's centre, easing traffic lloading for the Main Street.
